CTCI is an international club devoted to serve as a medium of exchange of ideas, information, and parts for admirers and owners of the Classic Thunderbird (1955-1957), and to aid them in restoring and preserving these automobiles to their original condition. We have currently 111 chapters and members/chapters in 18 countries. Our bimonthly magazine, The Early Bird, is professionally produced in full color and distributed to all members.

We are a Ford Employee Recreation Association based club that meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month in Dearborn, MI. Come see racing videos, hear speakers talk about their racing experiences and enjoy refreshments and the company of other race enthusiasts. You don't have to be directly involved in racing to join the club. Any Ford Motor Company employee, Ford dealership employee or any employee of a Ford OEM supplier with an interest in motorsports is welcome! FME also has chapter organizations in other locations outside of Dearborn. (Livonia, MI, Tulsa, OK, Nashville, TN to name a few.) FME hosts events such as FME night at Milan Dragway, trips to the Winston Cup race at MIS, go carting, race shop tours, Fan Appreciation Day, Vehicle Shows, some cruises, and we have ORV Events too! We hold joint events with the DCSSC, SCCA, WHRRI, and others. FME members grow this club into what we want it to be. How about you?

HVTCA is a national club devoted to the preservation and enjoyment of the 1958-1969 Thunderbirds. Club now has over 2,000 members with 16 local chapters. HVTCA has regional and national shows, and monthly newsletters.

ITC, the only international Thunderbird club serving all years (1955-Current), is currently at 14 chapters, 10 countries, and growing. ITC's bimonthly journal, the Thunderbird Script, is a 64 page professionally printed magazine with four-color pictures. Having received rave reviews, the Script is unique providing something for every family member, with articles on every technical and mechanical aspect for the T-Bird, lighthearted fiction, topics on other collectibles, as well as food and cooking, and humor.

Annual Dues (in US Dollars):

VTCI was established in 1968 for the "Preservation, Restoration and Enjoyment" of 1958-1960 T-birds. Since then, it has expanded to include all post-Classic T-birds from 1958-1997, and will be ready for the resumption of T-bird production in 2000-2001. The club has over 50 chapters in 6 Regions covering the US, Canada, and overseas regions including Europe and the Pacific Rim.

VTCI publishes a bimonthly magazine, Thunderbird Scoop, which has won Old Cars Weekly's Golden Quill award since 1991. The magazine has tech info, historical and member stories, plus ads for cars and parts. Members also receive Original Factory Specifications & Concours Rules manual to assist in restoration of their T-birds. A Technical Reprint Program of past Thunderbird Scoop articles dealing with T-bird maintenance and restoration is also offered.

VTCI sponsors up to 5 Regional Conventions plus its annual International Convention each year (24-27 September 1998, Reno Hilton, Reno, Nevada). For more info, please contact the club or visit their Web page.
